I'd remap without question if I had few months BMW warranty left. (My old 330d was mapped and had no related issues from 50-80k) However, with an 8 month old car with nearly 2.5 years warranty left and then maybe extending, not a chance.

ETTO, but I for one still wouldn't fancy being lumped with paying for a new engine on the incredibly slim chance something happened.

It was dark already when I was driving home, but car is so much different . OMG!!!

Difference is huge ! Sharper throttle response, torque arrives at lower rev , and it feels it never gonna slow down !! Yo can easily jump over 200 km/h on the german motorway.

Should be at least 370 horsepower like they claim as difference is very noticeable.

Thanks to Gary I have a switch as well, so I can switch it off easily whenever I want, probably will only switch it on when I go somewhere further , not for daily driving, commuting.
your welcome Ors

you might as well leave the power on all the time ...you never know when needs must

ACS is good but you will be waiting forever for BMW to release the MPPK for a 335d

Very true mate, tbh if I had a 335d and was nearing end of warranty then the results this give are immense and would consider it in a heartbeat, especially since it's the same as the ACS unit. You'll have no issues selling imho and glwts

When is it getting done?

Do you need to deal with the DPF via software, can't it just be bypassed?

I was getting a price for some exhaust work and the guy mentioned whether I wanted the DPF bypassed as well as just removing the backbox. I did think maybe I could do that and then get DMS to redo the map, but then I quite like not having the cloud of smoke when I floor it like my old E46 did!

Indeed it does. Plus it's a big give away that you've floored it and someone is up your behind making a nuisance of themselves.

I prefer the stealth disappearing act where by the time they've realised you put the foot down and reacted it's because I'm long gone.

Ecotune sorted my 123d with DPF removal,EGR bypass and a maxitune , this car never gave out black smoke even under WOT it would have a minor haze at worst.DPF removal made that car feel a lot more free revving and it helps with EGT's (exhaust gas temps) and the sound......that is half of the silencing on a diesel so it sounds very impressive under hard acceleration as many have commented when going down the pit straight at Castle Coombe

I understand this isn't every ones cup of tea but I just can't help myself

I'd be very interested to see and hear more once it's done! Whereabouts are you?

Where are they?

That would be a nice run one weekend.
I'm hoping to do a few trackdays once I've changed the suspension. Leaning towards the bilstein B16 at the moment. Might be amusing to get a few 335ds to the same track day!

Yeah that's the look I'm not keen on!

My garage door is a lot cleaner now than it was with previous cars!

Ecotune are in Glasgow

Man you've got it bad ........looks like you're running out of things to mod on your car

When I have got my car sorted you're welcome to come down and check it out, probably should try and arrange a southern meet/romp through some nice B roads down here

Once the exhaust and side skirts added, just then the suspension and probably that's me.

Though do love the idea of a nice leather retrim including the dash!

After that I'm all out of ideas.
