I recently got a muffler delete, and 2 days ago after I got my car back from the BMW dealer after fixing a faulty water pump and oil filter housing, a Drivetrain check popped up, I got the dealership to run a scan and it apparently was because of the exhaust flap, they removed the code but it came back again recently.
Any way to bypass it?

There is something you can plug the harness into to make it think the flap is connected. Don't have the part # but just Google it

Yeah I was looking at that one, but I wasn’t sure if it would actually trick the system making it think the Flap is still there? Hence “Protects the actuator plug from the elements when using a non valved exhaust” Sounds pretty much like a protector cap for the rain, rocks etc.. not sure tho.

Can you leave the actuator plugged in, and zip tie it away like the Dinan exhaust does?

It's not just a cover. I have it since I want the valves open all the time. It's got a built in resistor to emulate the valve motor so the car doesn't see a fault. I've had it for years

I Connected the actuator again and zip tied it, But the Drivetrain malfunction code is still there. Do I have to clear out the code?

Probably, but it may eventually go away on its own. Also, I'm not sure about that zip tie location. In the DINAN instructions its tucked inside a panel. That seems pretty exposed, but maybe would be fine.
