That looks great with the black and blue interior colors. I'll need to do this to mine.

Yea Matt Johnson did an incredible job. Pictures arent doing justice. The weave is stunning.

Gotta be patient though. Took 7 weeks to receive mine. Well worth the wait in my opinion.

Traded it! Not my F31 Cannonball Uber Wagon, that's not going anywhere. GF's 2014 328 xDrive Sedan. I have it for 8-10 weeks until the new G20 arrives, got her a 330 xDrive red with black sensatec, the matte black oak, driver assist, comfort, heated seats and wheel, nav with live cockpit, wifi and wireless charge, 18" wheels with non RFT (so happy that's an option now) and compact spare. In her words "realtor spec" all the needs for a mobile office plus red so easy for clients to follow her. She's excited, after driving both the new car is a big step up from her current ride. Let the waiting begin...

Good man, using a wagon as it's meant to be used. Me on the other hand, I have luxe custom mats and trunk liner, then another all weather liner that I put on top of the fancy stuff if I ever actually have anything in the rear.

Part of me is conflicted, it's my highway assault missile purpose built for long drives at high rates of speed, but then again I think some days it's not living its best wagon life. I console myself with the fact that it's a family heirloom so should be preserved for the next gen, but it still gnaws at me.

Thanks man, the car is mineral grey. It has a lot of black trim so I went with the black. My other option was bronze, but the black turned out great

Got the car on jacks, super psyked to finally upgrade her with my freshly powder coated m-performance brakes along with new 20" summer wheels and tyres.

Ready to install the first calliper after replacing all four rotors, only to find out that apparently there must have been something wrong with the batch of clear coat they used. I got a mild chock when I unpacked them. See pics

(Got them repainted a few months ago, and after I reassembled them I just stowed them away on the shelf)

So now I need to wait again in order for them to repaint them.

Wish I had taken a look at them before I changed the rotors lol. Oh well....

Another Step into Summer

Mounted the roof rack. It's not built around aero bars, but this rack has served atop three german wagons in a row over the course of 12 years. Next up, painted reflectors and keyhole cover, then maybe suspension and tuning?

Got an irresistible deal for this brand new F80 steering wheel.
Only catch was that the up shift paddle wasn't working.
Huge difference coming from the sport line wheel.

Installed the Carbon FIber Racingline Strut Tower Brace with a minor tweak to the engine compartment mud cover to make it fit my F30 340i xDrive.

I like how much more of the dash you can see with this wheel (and yes, I have the same ugly Sportline steering wheel). I was contemplating on getting it but its like RM2.9k here in Malaysia. How much did you get it for in SGD?
