Damaged interior trim

Morning all

I have a scratch on the passenger side trim it was done by the previous owner and is annoying the hell out of me!

Is there anyway of repairing this or is it simply replace with a better condition / new piece??

And no, I do not want to wrap it in gloss black or any type of carbon effect

Thanks
Rhys

Made out of aluminium I think so will be a replacement as you can't repair metal.

Big thank you to Niicckk for selling me his mint trim piece.

Only difference is the surround around the vents; weirdly you can remove the silver from my old piece but the gloss black is an all-in-one piece?? I'll happily put up with that rather than staring at the huge scratch!!
