Question Ordered M441's getting M400's Should I Complain??

Just deciphered my VIN number and every thing is correct except the wheels it looks like? Looks like I am getting the M400's instead of the m441's?

What's your guys opinion who have seen them both to compare?

Looking at them on the Net it's kinda hard to tell, but they both look extremely similar, except for a couple slight differences.

Is one valued more over the other?

Could the ViN decipher be wrong? It didn't have an English translation for that line.

Wait until it arrives, then if it has the wrong wheels they will have to change them, could be worth a call to the dealer to confirm what they have on your order

M400 looks better than 441 imo, unless 441 is in ferric grey.

Was looking at them both and was leaning towards the 400's too because they look a bit deeper. Might not be a bad mistake after all lol

They are really very close. I have 400's. The 441's are nice because they have that little curvy groove. But without looking carefully, most people wouldn't see a difference. Maybe the wheels are swapped at the port. I'd wait until delivery and see.

Call your dealer and complain. My dealer screwed up my trim selection and just gave me a reasonable discount on the car if I would still take it. The only reason I know about it is because I plugged in the VIN like you did. Being pro-active prevented me from showing up and being disappointed.

The earlier you contact them, the easier it will be to resolve, either by getting the right wheels or by comping you to take the ones installed.

I have another question, my Eight digit in my VIN is "0", does this mean my car has no airbags??

That decoder is for 3 Series. It doesn't appear to align with the 4 Series I ordered.

I think 400 is better because you can get a square tire setup (and rotate, if you go with non-directional tires). Like Bridgestone RE11As.

You should not be deciphering your VIN to figure out your car's options. Get the dealer to send you the Vehicle Inquiry Report for your car. Whatever is there, will be on your car when it's delivered.

My sales rep always seems a bit busy doing other things, and responses are slow.

I prefer to be pro-active in these things.

But I will wait to see when the car arrives. At least I know what I need to maybe look out for when it does.

The VIN is there for information on the Vehicle, as long it is properly deciphered.

If you call up anyone at the dealership they should be able to give you the inquiry report in 10 seconds. I wouldn't put up with unresponsiveness. You definitely want to find out if stuff is wrong now so you can get it taken care of, I wouldn't want to wait and let it catch me off guard when it's delivered.

I wish service in this country was like that. I don't even think they would know what a "Vehicle Inquiry Report" is. LOL.

I recall when placing the order for my 4GC, he disagreed with me that it was a "Hatchback", and thought the trunk was just like the 4Coupe's.
