'14 335I driver lock actuator question

I heard that there is coding/scanner requirements to do if you replace the driver side lock actuator. I have comfort access.

Any truth to this?

IIRC there's a TSB over your issue.

The repair doesn't indicate programming is required but it appears the the lock must be in a certain position.
