Hello guys,

I’m posting these for a friend of mine, he has a pair of rear blue m sport calipers. He Initially bought them to install them on his f30 but he has now sold it. For those with a 335i, you can upgrade to these on the rear to have a full kit since you already have the front brembo calipers. Please PM me it interested

Thanks

Is this a simple install with a 335i with base brakes? It looks like the M sport brakes would include this set of calipers along with a larger front rotor.

If I’m not mistaken all 335i’s come with the unpainted gray 4 piston front brembo calipers. You wouldn’t have to touch the front. In order to fit these all you need is a rear pair of 345x24 rotors and you’ll have a complete Brembo kit.

This is correct. I have the stock F30 335i brakes and I did this. It's a pretty dramatic improvement. Under hard braking standard 335i nosedives. With upgraded rear Brembos the 335i will squat flatly instead and brake much more controllably.

You can just replace your rear 1-piston grey Bosch calipers with these blue 2-piston Brembo calipers. You will also need a pair of 345mm x 24mm rotors. I have an extra pair if anyone is in the NJ/Philadelphia area and can meet to pickup. Rotors are generally too heavy (45-50 lbs/pair) to ship cost effectively by individuals. (Businesses that sell new rotors get huge volume shipping discounts to be able to ship them for "free".)

Don't worry about the color difference. You can brush paint your calipers right on the car on jack stands with G2 Caliper Paint. The two-part epoxy-like paint levels out as it dries to a hard sprayed on looking finish. Comes in many colors and they do custom colors too. See G2USA website. TireRack sells it for ~$50. I've got an extra kit in gloss black for $25 if you are in NJ/Philly area for pickup. Attached photos show my stock front grey Brembo calipers and my upgraded rear brakes painted with G2 Gloss Black Caliper Paint. I also painted the sides of my rotor hats with G2 Silver Caliper Paint. Now they'll never rust and always look new.

Brake pads in photos are Hawk 5.0. Far superior in every way to stock BMW pads and very reasonably priced too.

Upgrade to StopTech stainless steel brake lines at the same time for ~$106/set of four. Much improved solid brake pedal feel.
