I was told at the IAA that ALL ///M Performance parts for the F30 and F32 will be available from any BMW dealer starting in February, 2014 onwards.


Yes, the power gains are the same for F30 and F32. Automatics make slightly more HP and TQ than manual cars because of clutch life with the manual cars.


-automatic transmission: increase in performance from 225 kW/400 Nm to 240 kW/450 Nm (in 6th gear: 400 Nm)
-manual transmission: increase in performance from 225 kW/400 Nm to 240 kW/430 Nm
-improved acceleration from 0-100 km/h: ~ -0.2 seconds compared to the standard
-improved elasticity from 80-120 km/h: ~ -0.3 seconds compared to the standard
-optimised accelerator alignment
-extremely sporty engine and exhaust system sound: ‘exhaust bubbling’
-retention of the quality and BMW's factory warranty.
-fuel consumption and CO2 emissions remain unchanged

Will these gains also be available to other BMW's with the N55? It'd be nice to squeeze a little more factory horsepower out of my 135is.

I feel like there is just too much carbon fiber. It's nice in small doses, but it doesn't take much for it to become gaudy. It would have been nice if the CF was limited to the trim pieces minus the steering wheel and the lower trim around the shifter.

It's even better that in Europe there is another alternative, called Alpina Classic look, exclusive and with REAL performance upgrades over the standard 435i

Ok - so how much for a 435i M with PPK, LSD and some carbon fiber goodies? If all of a sudden I have a car that's within sniffing distance of M4 price, there is no way I'm getting the 435i :

The big question that many of us in Canada have is when will BMW Canada finally announce the 435i M Performance Edition? They did it for the 335i Sedan and they are showing all of the parts for the coupe but why aren't they actually going to give the full packaged 435i M Performance Edition?
