Here's some engine pics for you, as well as one of the iDrive screen. Obviously it's the small one because that's the one I wanted. But one thing I like about the iDrive now is that it shows the volume when you change it. I don't know when they started doing that, but on my 2013, I had no visual indication what the volume setting was, so I like that.

For those who requested pics of the ambient light at night, I'll have to do that tonight.

I enjoyed his 340i... Congratulations!...You should try it on a track to see what is capable of doing this sport sedan!...BMW has this new engine with more torque and more power... now 2,998 cc vs 2,979 cc before.
In ride quality. How strong and dynamic is? Tense or very firm or comfortable?... BMW was using the technology Tenneco in the previous model. Does your car has Tenneco shocks or ZF?

We don't have such a thing in the US.
Yes, so I gather, but this isn't a muscle car. It's a 3. Can't imagine how that can handle so much power?

The F30 with the N55 and power kit (340 hp) doesn't have any issues, it's a peach.

Looking forward to seeing if they release a power kit for this (360-370 maybe?)

He doesn't have a full iDrive, just the basic media screen.
Why? I thought this would be the standard for all 335i, 340i should have the same or even better

Can't tell if serious.... you have a M4 and are confused how a F30 would have 320 HP?

With Nav you get the full screen. Without nav you get the smaller screen.

ok, but that's not fair for highest class of 3 series.

I really don't get how some people are confused about the screen in the car, power of the car, etc...

It's not like BMW did anything drastically different with the 340i than the 335i it replaced (technically N55+MPPK = B58 power). In the E90's, if you didn't have nav you didn't even have a screen.

The highest class of 3-series is the M3, which does include Nav standard.

Congrats! Shes a beaut! I like all the specs, but the dark wheels make them seem smaller, once again, matter of opinion as long as you love it, thats what matter.

This new 340i looks absolutely proper, everything from the engine to the pss tires and all the little tweaks made this the clear benchmark in the segment.
So, someone like my wife that does not care about cars would absolutely see no difference between the two. May be nicer, however, the difference is minimal

Looking back at the e90 and LCI, the rear lights shape was noticeable, the hood was different...

Thank you.

Looks the the intake is different from the N55.

How does the power feel?

My old 135i made 370 horsepower and over 400lb/ft of torque even before I ever upgraded any of the suspension or tires, my M3 was pushing close to 640 horsepower before I started putting it back to stock to get ready to hopefully move into an M2 and I never did any chassis work on the M3 other than Swift Spec-R springs (LOVE the higher spring rates on this chassis, they work so well). I would say yes, these cars can handle a lot more power just fine and I drove the piss out of both of those cars every single day.

Dude has no clue or is drinking scotch for lunch...he makes no sense. "How a b58 can handle 22 more hp over an N55?! Dude are you effin serious? Why so much power in a family sedan. GTFO. Now days 300hp isn't shit. If you're not pushing over 400 it's slow especially given how heavy cars are now days.

Like you said e92 m3 with super chargers strapped to them pushing 550+hp all day long.
