F36 Manual sport seats to Electric ones
Hello Gentlemen,
All of my previous cars have had leather interior, and I really am missing it with my 4-series. I have found a good deal on an interior with leather, heated, memory sport seats. Now the big question is, how to do the installation? The mechanical work isn't a biggie, as I already have taken the interior apart for speaker upgrade. Electrics? Do I need to do a lot of wiring? I already have the electric heating and lumbar support in my current ones, so there is at least some power going to the seats. Codings? I have a setup to do coding, if I know what to code. I believe the seats have some kind of modules, can it be a problem that the car doesnt recognize the new ones at all? My car is a 420i 2016. Thanks a lot and your help is highly appreciated! |

I suggest to start with www.realoem.com and become very familiar with parts required for your project. The next stop: obtaining wiring diagrams.
