PDC stopped working at the front

Not sure what I've done but PDC now only kicks in automatically in reverse. It works fine if I press the PDC button next to the shifter, but it always came on at both ends automatically until recently.

I'm thinking if the manual button works the sensors themselves are OK, but what ever is telling it to wake up has gone wonky. I nearly drove into my garden wall the other day as I was too used to PDC to barking at me.

Any ideas?

I didn't think F3x front PDC ever started automatically.

Mine fires up if I select reverse gear. If I then go back to drive, the front fires up, but only if the rear was previously active. I get nothing if I just drive forwards towards something.

Pretty sure there's a setting in iDrive to activate the fronts if you get too close to an obstacle.

EDIT: Just gone had a look and can confirm, photo attached.

Vehicle Settings > Parking
I don't have 'parking' as an option in my vehicle settings. Maybe it's part of a package.

Weird. I park next to a steel fence at work and it always used to bark at me when I was near it. Reverse wasn't previously engaged when it did that. Likewise in supermarket carparks when driving forwards into a space. Oh well, so long as it works in reverse, that'll do!
