Strongest safe cleaning agent for clearcoat!?
I have something (unknown origin and type) literally brushed on a small area on my roof. It looks like a dried shampoo or sealant or...
 Parallel glossy lines like from a hand applicator, running for about 20cm. I have no explanation about where it came form, I discovered it during waxing, but it was not the wax I was using, as I initially suspected. Either way - I tried Swissvax cleaner, I tried 10% IPA, I tried 100% IPA, I tried 100% denaturated alcohol..... nothing made any difference. Polishing is not an option. Any suggestions about what else can be tried that will not damage the clearcoat?

Won't help. Not noticeable when touched. Look like wet/oily residuals. But flat to the touch. Only chemically removable... if at all.

Not a great illustration, but still visible. Talking about those wet-look, brushed parallel marks...:
 They are a bit more visible in reality than on the photo, but at the same time not that obvious either to risk making it worse. I am just puzzled what it could be and WHY it cannot be removed by normal methods...

Are you the first and only owner?
If you can't feel anything when you brush your fingers over it, and none of the cleaners you have tried have done anything thennnn The last solution is to do some paint correct and cut/polish it which you said wasn't an option.

First and only. And you'd think I'd have noticed it earlier, since it does not seem to have occurred during the waxing itself (I experimented afterwards and left wax for significantly longer on another (hidden) spot and was easily able to wipe it off without any residual gloss.
Cut and polish is not an option on a matte paint!  Gloss is what you don't want  I was thinking about acetone (commonly used to remove paint (spray or other) from the clear-coat), but it sounds risky. It is not easily visible now, wouldn't want to make it worse...
