steering quite stiff since rack fix

Hi All
I have recently replaced a part in my steering rack to fix the knocking sound.
The knock has now gone, however I feel like the steering is stiffer than before.

The nut with the 3 holes in is not that tight, I even adjusted it again looser.

The steering wheel goes back to centre ok.

What could this be? maybe it is normal, it just feels stiffer than before.

Does anything need resetting, coding etc?

Cheers
