if only , you woudl be suprised at the poor level of knowledge service advisors have around here in UK. Thanks to the notion here " we have your money so get lost" attitude its a lot worse here in UK to get any repairs or fitted. SOme of the stories coming out are just schocking. They hire people on service desks that dont have clue and then try to sound like they been a mechanic for 20 years. I've tracked down the bulletin paperwork for US as as only I can find and its impressive in detail. I suspect the UK one will be look at it , damage the undertray without telling the clietn give car back.

Sooner or later you'll have to work with a dealer, they're the only ones who can perform warranty work.
I suspect you just have the odd bad one, because any dealer that thinks "we have your money so get lost" won't be around for long. Dealers don't make money selling new cars, the profit margins are too small. They make money selling used cars and in the service department.

Not really in UK its getting worse , customers have so little protection here, its far from the litigation culture you have. No lemons laws you literally rely on franchise dealers who just shift volumes. They crash into £90,000 customer cars while servicings and make it sound like they are doing you a favour to fix it. There are some good guys out there mostly indies know a few and they are top. Only one dealer in area who use to be top even then now are slipping

My car is a 14, my steering rack has made the clunk noise since I got it. I'm assuming that's what this campaign is about? I'd love for this to get covered on bmw's dime.

Edit: still no open campaigns show up for my vin :/

I’ve had the steering gear recall done on my 2015 335i and whatever they did has made a whole heap of difference. Before this the steering was always very twitchy on the motorways needing constant minor correction. Since last Thursday the car on the motorway drives so much better. This twitchyness was something I hated about this car.
