F32 Sliding Electric Seat Help?

So after I initially asked about changing my interior from black to red, I decided to give it a go today. Looks freaking amazing!! Little bit of blood, lots of sweat and many tears (of frustration and joy!), but the results were so worth it!!! 👌🏽💯🔥😍

I have two slight issues though, that I was hoping you amazing people could help me with:

1) My Seats are Electric and heated (as were the new replacement red seats). The electrics seem to work, and so does the heated part, but the button on the shoulder (top) of the seat (to move the seat forward or back) doesn’t seem to work on either driver or passenger seat?

2) On the driver seat, the height adjustable switch seems to be inverted. When I push it up, the seat moves down. When I push it down, the seat moves up?

Any ideas?

Besides that, best £400 and 7 hours I’ve ever spent! Really transforms the look of the car.

TIA!

Yes red looks miles better than black!

Can’t help with 1 except are you certainly you plugged everything back in, and make sue the plugs click in fully.

2 should be easy enough to fix by switching the wires around that go into the seat side plug, you can detect which two they are with an ohm meter.

Hi mate,

Managed to fix all the issues with the seats. I just switched over the seat control units from my original black seats to the replacement red seats. 15-20 mins and everything works perfectly!

No errors, no issues at all.

Love my new interior!!! Red looks so much better than black does!

Cheers!
