You swap over the tire pressure sensors.

I bought another set of TPMS for these. Previously, I just ran without them, but figured I'd be more careful with this set of wheels.

They were $35 a piece on Tire Rack.

433MHZ TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR
Manufacturer Part #: 981110000115985

A lot of people say some need coded to the car, but these worked immediately upon installation. No coding required.

Followed the wrong youtube DIY and ended up having to cut the stock CP in half lol. I'd stay away from Kies Motorsports if you absolutely have no idea about the task you are performing.
Just a question about updating idrive firmware. Usually this is done at service intervals by BMW (I know you can manually update firmware yourself from the official link on bmw's website), as with my F36GC. Could you give a bit more detail about what exactly you was updating please? Was it just an update for the current idrive version or where you updating to a newer idrive? As far as I know you can't update the idrive version, but would like to know what your update was. Also do you know what the updates brought? Anything new/improved on? Thanks.

The description for the update was really vague. It said that it improved connected drive services.

I usually read reviews before updating any electronic gadget of mine, but there was not much info out there (go figure). So I just went with being safe and having the latest software. There were no noticeable differences that I could observe.

Nice car! The color is really stunning.
Why did you chose exactly GC F36, not just F30?
And also I wanted to ask, is it possible to replace the rear lights to LCI (as for me, LCI ones are more interesting).

Thank you for so entertaining thread!

I chose the GC over the F30 because of the coupe styling. It just appeals more to me, and it's a bit more uncommon. I drove a 435d GC for a few weeks in Germany and fell in love. The hatch/trunk is also a major bonus for me.

I believe it is possible to update the tails. There may be a little bit of rewiring involved from what I've read. I would really like the GTS tail lights but they are a bit difficult to foid and extremely pricey.

As soon as there is an M4 Gran Coupe I will do just that. And still mod it.

Great Build sir And quite the adventure.

I am also looking at purchasing a 2015 435i Gran Coupe and I have been using CarGurus for the last few months. Looking at a couple with high mileage cars to get it more in my price range. What would you tend to look for on the Gran Coupe as far as issues now that you have had your GC awhile?

The wife's daily driver is a 2014 428i Coupe and have had no issues with it at all. 44k miles so far. I do all my own maintenance and mods so not afraid to have to fix things.

Thanks for any feedback.
