It is amazing what a simple set of spacers will do for the look of a car! Looking great!

Scanned in the printed dyno chart I have, I still need to get EAS to send it electronically so I can post up a cleaner chart with color. Weather conditions were very similar, temps the same with only slight humidity difference. Only two weeks apart as well.

Interesting. Your numbers look to be a bit less than what BMS and others have shown even though your baseline is dead on (+/- 1hp). I think they're showing a good 10-15whp more, but actually coming on earlier than yours is (if memory serves...)

Wonder if they tweaked the stage 1 software lately. I'd like to see someone's stage 2 to see if there are any differences in Map 1 with no mods. One day I'll get around to doing it myself on my car...

It did take a while for the harness to come in so I wonder if there were any tweaks.

Also, I was running 91 octane and my car is a 3/13 production date. As far as any other variables go.

I wonder if your car had some detonation or timing pulled.....91 octane doesn't help, but on one of your runs with the JB1 your midrange power plunged below stock levels at 3500rpms and you were down about 25rwtq over your other JB1 run at that point.

I'm also surprised at how much your hp plummeted at 6100rpms...to the point where its making no more power than stock from 6200rpms-6300rpms.

Yeah I thought about taking it up to Berger when I do the stage 2, since they aren't that far from me. That way he could analyze it compared to what they designed.

Today I had them install the BMS Stage 1, the best run was ~295whp/339tq. The 'butt dyno' feel you all are getting on your Stage 1 is definitely a direct result of the TQ increase. I'll post up the actual dyno charts once I get them sent electronically or I'll scan what I have in.

Macht Schnell 15mm wheel spacers on BMW 403M 19" wheels
On a side note, threw some Macht Schnell 15mm spacers on while I was EAS so you can see what they look like on 403M wheels and stock suspension. 10mm were out-of-stock so I wasn't able to do the front just yet.

Before

After. Please bear in mind that this was right after putting it back on the ground and is at stock M-Sport suspension height. With a slight drop and/or settling it will camber in a bit.

iND Front Painted Reflectors
Then, as soon as I get home from EAS today my front reflectors arrived so I threw those on real quick. (I know. You've seen one, you've seen 'em all)
Damn, thats not bad! 277 rwhp stock, plus 15-16% drivetrain loss = 321hp. So Id say this car is definetly underrated.

295rwp would amount to 342 at the crank so a downpipe sould really make it pick up some insane gains. Id say 30hp all day.

370-380hp for jb $400 and down pipe $500. $900 is a bargain and a half.

Air intake, intercooler, and cat back will do well over 400hp and thats plenty for me...

yeah I agree, however I'm taking a brief break from power enhancing and doing suspension upgrades.

With a F30 JB4 Stage2+DP+E85mix(100 octane equiv) the F30 335i has dynoed @ 370whp or 435hp (assuming 15% drivetrain losses)...

From what I've read a FBO N55 is tapped out at ~400whp. If you want anymore than that you would need a turbo upgrade or nitrous shot...

Yeah I'm ok with 400hp. I'm not trying to get into the whole race gas or e85 and meth injection. Been down that road. I'm ok with FBO

Not quite. A lot of dyno tuners these days are using STD correction factors to jack up the power the cars they modify appear to put out. STD boosts hp by about 4% over the automotive industry standard SAE correction factors.

That's what I'm afraid of. I have a feeling I'll be raising it up a little once it settles.

That looks fantastic. Congrats! I want to do suspension so bad, but need a coilover setup which would allow me to raise the front (electronically) from inside the car. Anyone knows if any Bilstein models for the F30 have this function yet?

Not that I know of. I don't see myself doing adjustments that often. For me, it should be a one time deal for a street setting then dial in for the track.

Looks good man! How much were your Bilsteins? Good choice on the spacers. I usually run them, but my current set-up is so aggressive that I don't need them this time around. Any pics of the rear of your car?
