#1) I had a new exhaust put on, it's a custom stainless dp-back, with no muffler and a Volant resonator. The exhaust was installed in 3 pieces, with sleeve-style clamps. In the high rpm under full throttle, it makes a weird whistle sound (I'll attach a video as soon as I figure out how). Is this an exhaust leak? All the clamps are very tight, and clamped at the end of the sleeve for the best seal. The sleeves were also racked onto the exhaust and clamps were tacked onto the sleeves so nothing would move. Maybe I need a new gasket at the connection to the dp? Any ideas?

#2) Sounds like a boost leak to me. Just sounds like compressed air escaping through a small hole. I have an ER chargepipe, so I'm not sure if this noise is normal or not. I do not remember if the O-rings were transferred from the old CP (which blew up on stock tune). Does anyone with an aftermarket CP experience a sound like this? I'll get a video next time I drive the car.

I want to install a JB4, intake, etc but I want to make sure everything else is working properly first.

Sounds Like your charge pipe. When mine blew up the turbo noise was piercing. I just replaced mine, and you do have to change over the O-rings with the VRSF one.

Also want to add that the car hasn't thrown any codes since the ER chargepipe was installed almost a year ago.

Yea the car runs fine. Still powerful. Still losing traction in first gear, and the tires bark shifting to second sometimes depending on conditions.

Would it throw a code if there was a boost leak?

Perhaps my best solution is to buy a JB4 and take some logs?

The only thing I'm hearing is the puh-zah-eww (say it fast) sound from the turbo. Is that what you're talking about? Stock intake?

It's more of a "sssssss" sound. You can hear it the best right after I shift from 3rd to 4th in the video. And yes the intake is stock.

Logs would show the boost leak at a very minimum. Being an MHD user I'd suggest taking a look at them, I'm pretty sure you can buy just the logger and not have to unlock your ECU (double check)

The JB4 will work as will BM3(I think)
