M Performance 335/435i Huge Price Drop

I've been patiently waiting to see if the M Performance LSD for my 340i will drop given the Cyber Monday deal from a while back. So far, nothing. However, today I noticed that bimmerworld and ECS tuning have the 335i/435i M perf LSD (part #33107555607) on sale for around $550-$560 for a limited time (listed at 74% off). Shopbmwusa still has it listed over $2600. I suppose if there are any 335/435 drivers out there waiting for the right time to buy, this would appear to be it.

I'm only nervous because usually they do this when a new revision is coming out. This is the same thing they did with the previous revision of MPerformance brakes. Then it's sold out everywhere, then the new revision drops with (presumably) some improvements and the price goes back up.

Unless they're just clearing out old inventory now that the G20 is at dealers?

That sounds like a deal but this is for the N55 so maybe that's why?

The final drive changed for LCI cars. The LSD on sale has a final drive that matches what they used on auto 335is (3.15), but 340i auto uses 2.81.

Welp, I purchased an M Performance Exhaust around noon for $840 and now an LSD for $600 with tax.

That was a quick $1500

I know I got a great deal being the LSD normal retail is like $2500 and the MPE is around $1400.

Tom saves 62% today :-)

Dang this is super tempting but I'm not sure how it'll work with xdrive or with a 328 since I think there's some differences there as well. Great deal for those on the fence about getting one though!

I don't think it's compatible. 33108659989 was listed as compatible for my 440 xdrive and that thing is $2400

Sooo I went M performance limited slip diff right from BMW.com $600 shipped to my dealer from Germany.

BMW of Fort Myers said install is only $288

Im pumped.

I was all about upgrading my 335i to 340/m340 but I may just want to keep this car for a longer time

No. The LSD for the 328i would be different, assuming there is one? I don't see a BMW lsd for the 328, anywhere.
