[Pic Heavy] SoCal_F3x Coding Meet at The LA Zoo 8/14/16

We had an amazing turnout for the 2nd gathering of the SoCal_F3x crew this past weekend at the LA Zoo. It was really hot out there, but 22+ F3x cars braved the heat to get coded, hang out, and meet some of the other local F3x owners. The line up was so deep that a lot of us had to use the panorama feature on our iPhones to fit all the cars in the frame!

A huge shoutout to Tom, aka Frogman, aka the Godfather of coding, aka Flynn; Mike aka Mwm1166; and SoCal_F3x's very own David, aka EB F32, for taking the time out of their busy schedules to code so many cars. We really appreciate their desire to give back to the BMW community and enjoyed learning how to code from them. We will definitely continue to pay it forward to other F3x members in the future.

Also, a huge shout out to my fellow organizers/moderators of the event. Kevin, aka Kevinwrotethis17, aka the founder; Tony, aka tmdals0213; David, aka EB F32; and absentee moderator Lawrence, aka Blu_340i, for putting together such a great event. Awesome job ensuring that everyone had a great time!

We're happy to say the SoCal_F3x membership is growing fast and we're already looking forward to the next meet. That was such a great turn out. It was unbelievable that we doubled in size within such a short time. Good times with everyone and looking forward to the next meet again.

Oh and thanks to those who brought snacks and water to the meet. It helped alot under that insane heat.
