Question Few Questions Regarding the JB+ Engine Tune

I've already purchased this tune from BMS but I have a few questions regarding it that maybe I should have asked first, Maybe you guys can help?

1. When would the proper install time be for a new car? Wait until after the break in period? Wait until 3000-4000 miles on clock? Does it matter?

2. Can this simple piggy back tune cause any damage to the motor/DME?

Thanks guys

install it after 1200 miles, it wont cause any damage to your engine.

Hi Mike-
I'm not sure you remember speaking with me but I am looking at buy a down pipe for my 340i with the b58 motor. I see that you have a VSRF 4.5" dia. catless DP for sale. I have a few questions on this:
1. Will it fit a 2018 340i, rear drive, Manual Trans?
2. What is involved with the install and can it be removed and old DP reinstalled?
3. I am looking to get more exhaust sound from car, I'm not sold on buying a new muffler so would this mod help get more sound with the factory muffler.
Thanks Mike

You probably don't want to run a DP with the JB+, you'll need a JB4 to really take advantage of it and help deal with throttle closure.

Thanks Mike
DP and Mid Pipe will give you nice sound, no need for muffler.

Are you using the JB4 as well? If not, have you seen any CEL due to the DP?

No JB4 I'm going with the flash tune. This down-pipe is suppose to not throw a CEL and so far nothing.

Have the same setup except + JB4. Second this post 100%

Please let me know how the flash is!! I have JB4 and I’m not sure if the flash will be worth it but I’m curious if the burbles addition will add more to the pops.

Which downpipe was installed?

What was wrong with the downpipe plus JB+ installed?

Is it better to go only with the JB+ without Downpipe?

Thanks.

ER catless.
I think it would run better without it yes. I was getting tons of throttle closure. not much consistency with power.

it was quick around the city but opened up high rpm shifts were no bueno
