Detailing my car for the very first time... looking for input/guidance.

Hi all,
I am going to attempt to detail my car for the very first time this weekend. I am not expecting to be a Pro the first go-around nor will I spend 6 hours doing it but would like to get decent results. From all that I have read here, I have come up with this method. PLEASE chime in, poke holes in it, let me know what I have wrong etc.

1. Spray wheels down with wheel cleaner. Let sit for a minute and scrub with wheel brush.
2. Initial wash with PH neutral car soap. Two bucket method.
3. Rinse wheels and car.
4. Dry car with blower and then Micro fiber towel.
5. Clay bar car using water/car shampoo mixture lubricant.
*** Do I rinse dry after clay bar? ***
6. Second wash, rinse, dry.
7. Polish car with orbital buffer.
8. Apply Hydrosilex Recharge to car.

Thanks gents!

1. You should add an iron decontamination spray to this process
4. Use more than 1 towel. I would add quick detailer to avoid marring
6. I am unsure you need this 2nd wash
8. I would consider an IPA solution, such as CarPro Eraser or Gyeon Prep, to remove polish residue for a proper Recharge bond

Thank you, Louie! Could I possibly use Dawn (cheap way out?) before the Recharge?

I have never used it but I heard it's a myth.

Dawn is also hard on the rubber & plastic trim - dries it out.
