Which car do you have? Why spend so much on a tuning box when you can have a remap for much less?

You would be much more better off getting a very good tune for 190ps or more and being happy with it.
What year 318d and which exact engine? N47? B47?

It is quite a well known engine. I would just go with a remap. Where are you based?
Also make sure you don't have any issues with the timing chain and the swirl flaps. I had an e92 320d with the n47 engine and with the remap I got 210-220hp. I think the 18d is a de-tuned version of it and you probably can get similar numbers. I would definitely suggest it. It turns the car into a beast. But be careful you will come back wanting more. I got a 435d after and I ended up remapping that as well... Edit: I just saw you are in Portugal. Evolve does a remote remap which is what I got and I am very happy with it. They are here on the forum. Ask Imran@Evolve. Very good service and result. |
