Thank you for the files. I see that in the PX6 folder, there is only one folder for MCU. Is that only compatible with Android 8.1 or it can also work with Android 9?

already installed a SD625 unit on my e82 and are awesome but have a issue when play audio on zlink app over spotify , when play music sometimes music skip a bit like a cd scratched and continue playing , this same issue happens with apple music and already tested my phone with library downloaded and playing over streaming and issue are same , tested on another unit with wired carplay and issue are inexistent , any have this same issue ?

Those voltages sound off. The data-sheet for that LCD says 10.8v max @ 280ma.
I suppose they could be feeding it higher voltage at lower current, but that seems out of spec.

I’m working on upgrading my 8.8 to 10.25. I got the same brand/series panel, but in 10.25. All specs are the same except for backlight. 10.25” calls for 29-30v~ @ 250ma. Think I’ll just have to source my own external driver rather than trying to figure out WTF they’re doing on these units.

I have made the decision to get Apple CarPlay to extend my enjoyment of the car for another few years! Both options below also support Android auto.

After much research, I have two options and I need your help in deciding:

1. Andream MMI box ($249) Link

Pros: Everything remains OEM on the surface. less things that might break since it is only a box. Several generations already.
Cons: No touchscreen (drive controls)
Note: this goes by several other names, details here

2. Andream 10.25" Touch screen ($289) Link

Pros: Larger screen than OEM. touchscreen.
Cons: Reliability (eg resistance to heat). Fit and finish quality. First generation product. Does not dim at night.
Note: this is the one without an entire android OS.

Thoughts? experience with any of these?

I have a problem and I do not know how to solve it, these days and I tried to move google to the internal apps in the way that it says here in the forum, (through ADB) but it always gives me an error, it tells me that it cannot find the priv-app folder (and exists 100%). leaving me the folder in the device directory! and it won't let me delete it ... who could tell me what's going on? and what is failing? thanks to all!

Any recommendations on downloads or apps

I've recently installed the 10.25 android 9 HU, but I'm getting some rattling sound when travelling through rough road or yellow line. When I hold on to the HU the rattling sound is not there. I've tighten the bracket screw but it doesn't seems to get rid of the rattling. Is anyone facing the same issue?

Some people with AVIN USA units reported that as well. It's some internal component that is loose from what I heard.

I found out that google maps is does change the naming of the Search field pretty often, so the Tasker Script does not work correctly anymore

The only workaround if found (thx JimRakete ) is to use the commute feature of Maps, instead of clicking the search field.

So i made a new version 4 , which does now press the "Commute" button when at main menu, and you just need to press again to start navigation
As this button do not change language in (exception i found is german), i added the english words to the german version.

Basicly Maps_tasker_v4 is pretty suitable for any language

This Script does Require Tasker and Touchtask installed.

Please click through the script after installing, as some do require special permission.

Also, I am interested to get your Google voice as currently it is not functioning from my steering wheel "voice" button. Please advice how-to do these two.

Last weekend i did a firmware update to 2.5.3 on my HU Android but the bluetooth is not working now. I can connect my phone by BT but 1 or 2 second later the phone is disconnected. I tried to install and older firmware but same problem. Could you help me ? what can i do? Thank You!!
