Get a holiday booked. Somewhere you can drive home from if required. But with strict instructions that would be a last resort..

So any thoughts on where to holiday? If you're Warwickshire. The Cotswolds are not far. Stow-on-the-Wold would make a nice couples day trip.

Cotswolds sounds good, it came to mind as well as Herefordshire or Shropshire.

Will get something booked after next week when I will have my F31 back, can't put our dogs in the courtesy car.

It's in for the repairs from the damage BMW Emergency Services caused in recovery following a puncture in Wales, when on route to the family holiday home last month. It was meant to be a relaxing weekend but was turned into more stress than its worth.

Although the good will payment for the trouble it caused us which I negotiated yesterday with them will pay for most of this needed break.

Have the F31 back been in the bodyshop nearly 3 weeks having recovery damage sorted so have booked a holiday for this coming weekend 4days (Fri-Tues) in Wales (snowdonia) only a couple of hrs back if needs be. Moms MRI came through it's booked for the 8th Sept so got everything crossed for then.

We are going to use the compensation from BMW Emergency Services for some tickets to the RSC when something comes up we really want to see & will be another nice night out/overnighter in Stratford to look forward to.
