iDrive Service History Not Updating
So after loads of hassle trying to get my pads and discs replaced under warranty for horrendous squeaking, BMW finally cracked and did the job.
However, they didn't update my iDrive service history to say it had been done. I rebooked at another more convenient dealer for it to be updated, and yet again it wasn't done. I've spoken to the original dealer who assures me it's been updated on the BMW servers, so can't understand why it won't update on the car even after they've supposedly followed all the right steps. Anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? Couldn't imagine it's at all related, but I'm running an MHD map and coded a few settings through bimmercode - could they be interfering? HELP PLEASE!

At least in 2014 iDrive pro, it's not updated unless the service company connects their computer and synchronizes it manually. These days however, you should be able to see if it's properly registered by logging in to bmw-connecteddrive. There's a new feature "service history" which contains all information.

Apparently that's what they did, and it just didn't update. Finally got the car back today, they said they had to do a hard reset and input the data manually after that. It was showing up on their BMW systems and everything, just not in the car... strange
