Were you able to do NGHB with Bimmercode, or if not, what did you use to do it, and how? I thought the developer of Bimmercode said this was not possible to do with the app.

New here so had my eyes opened as to the potential for my car. I've seen a few posts on here 're remote tailgate closing, does this require anything other than coding on a UK 330d shadow edition? It has remote boot release as standard.

Remote tailgate closing with remote and vehicle button can be coded via ESys.

Hi Guys, I have only just come back to a Beemer after having to change to Fleet supplied cars.
I have just purchased a 2014 F31 and I am wondering if it is possible to get screen mirroring from an Android (S9+) as I very often sit and watch TV on my mobile.
I have just got a 8.8 screen and will be fitting and coding next week

I have just retrofit a 8.8 screen all working brilliantly

I have also coded 6NL I have (ENTRYNAV) and BMW Assist

I have a Samsung S9+

I connect my phone to USB and select configure apps

I start BMW connected app

I get the response no compatible phone connected on Car Screen

I have been told that I probably need to change my USB Config on my phone

When I go into developer options on phone under USB configuration I get the following
options

Charge This phone
MTP (Media Transfer protocol)
PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol)
RNDIS (USB Ethernet)
Audio Source
MIDI

Does anyone have any help on which one to select please

Well I can state that none of them do, ended up trying each one in turn with MTP and PTP i get the report "Not Compatible" so need to look elsewhere

Many of these features are activated using BimmerCode & Carly, apps for your phone that also require an OBD adapter.

By far the single best thing i coded is disable the auto start/stop, or else I can see that button freaken pushed into the dash one day from being used so much.
