Hello

Everyone , please you kindly advise me how to edit the code for my car.
Right now I already have ethernal cable and bmw coding database program.
Do I need to have token like e sys program? or just plug in the cable with car and then open the program and click get data after that click submit code and fill up the blank information . Finally click submit. Is it correct and work?
Anyone , who success with this program. Please advise.

Many thanks in advance

This is only a Database program, cataloging known codes to be used for coding.

For actual coding of a car, you need E-Sys, PSdZData, and an ENET Interface cable.

That's interesting, I've just tried at home and it works.

It's probably the firewalls at work that blocked the upload.

Great work !

Cool .. just got my car serviced, so need to re-code. Will give this a whirl at home. I think my work is blocking access to the databases

I've got the same issue. Will need to try it when I am off the corporate network (I had to jump through hoops to allow it to install, as it is), but I am curious why it's not connecting and can only assume it's trying to use a port or similar that's not 'normal' behaviour.

The tool makes a direct connection to a MySQL database on port 3306.

Your firewall/proxy server will need to allow outgoing connections to that port.

Thanks for the info. I can assure you 100%, though, that there is absolutely zero chance of that happening!

I guess I'm stuck to trying it under Parallels on the Mac at home

Cheers...

Thanks for doing this. It's nice to have everything in one place. I've got quite a few .pdf's that I go to and it's nice to have one go to for them.

Which font did you use for the BMW coding wording on the cable?

@FreddyG: Couldn't find the .pst file, so will check it later for you, probally a default font.

Sorry for the delay for an update, it will probally be done by the end of this month.

New functions/features will be:
- Offline mode using a saved xml (working on this)
- Export option to csv/xml (implemented)
- Search while type on description and function (implemented)
- Possibility to edit own codings (implemented)
- Printing functionallity (working on this)
- Adding an option to select if a coding works (working on this)
- Bulk import from csv or xml (working on this)
- Group mulit codings (working on this)

Some random fixes that input fields can't be empty to prevent empty codings.

PandaNL asked for a logo...so here are two options that I threw together this morning. Thoughts?
