Help Me Choose Which Mod To Do Next?
I'm ready for my next upgrade and I'm torn between a few different choices. I thought you guys could weigh in and help me figure out which to go with.
Here's what I'm torn between... 1. M Sport Steering Wheel $900 (Includes dual stage airbag) 2. M Performance Interior Trim Set $740 (Replacing Burr Walnut on Beige) 3. M Sport Front Bumper $390 (Plus $$ for Paint/Install) I've included some photos of my F30 (Prior to installing a set of LED angel eyes headlights and a rear BSM spoiler) and some photos of the actual parts mentioned above. What do you guys think? |

M Sport front bumper, get rid of the sportline look. Happy New Year!

Yeah, I'm definitely leaning towards that or the steering wheel. Steering wheel is enticing because of how quickly I'll be able to have it installed and how much actual use I'll get out of it. I should've priced out the paint for the bumper to see if it's actually something that'll be in my price range when all is said and done. I'd like to stay under $1000 if possible. After recently buying wheels/tires, LED headlights, a rear spoiler, window tint and kidney grills, I may have to limit myself a bit on this one, unfortunately. |

Seeing your F30 with with the black trim makes me realize that my F32 needs it to get all the blackness of mine tied together.
As far as adding some parts I would go with the steering wheel first, then interior, then front and rear bumpers. I have a sportline F32 and as much as I want to change my steering wheel, I actually love the red stitching on mine. I have the Red Merino leather interior. You may consider getting the Alcantara covered wheel that lets you reuse the current airbag and add the M3 paddles. (There are many posts about switching them out on here and on YouTube) If I upgrade the steering wheel in mine, I will do the race wheel with the lights. I too hope to add the Msport front and rears to mine, paint and fitment will run about $500 for each average from most paint and body shops. -Z-

If I could find a steering wheel that I liked and that would let me reuse my current airbag, that'd be phenomenal. I may even be able to swing that and the M Performance Trim Set. Are the airbags for the baseline leather steering wheel and the sportline steering wheel the same? |

Once you get to experience M Sport steering wheel on the daily basis, it's very difficult to go back to any other wheel. I suggest M Sport steering wheel.

Thanks, I can totally see how that would be true. I'm leaning heavily towards the steering wheel at this point.

Not to hijack my own thread here, but can you guys help me out and let me know if this particular steering wheel and airbag will be a match for my 2014 320i Xdrive? I, and the seller, seem to be clueless.
Thanks in advance! |

There are in fact several options for the F30/31/32/33/36 when it comes to steering wheels to maintain the same airbag. But, your airbag may be a previous generation based on shape.
These are what I am considering myself. I checked ECS Tuning and here is the link for what comes up for your car https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-F30-32...teering/Wheel/ And the full front, rear, and sides for M-sport will run around $900 at Mod Bargains then about $500 for paint and fitment for each end. -Z-

I would go for the m sport bumper first and then the other mods. It's what people will see first

Hi
I really like the outside look of your car as it is! Very clean lines! Looks great without spoilers, splitters and the like. I would go M Sport steering wheel, then get rid of the walnut. |

Thanks for the input guys!
I think I'm going to start off with the M Sport Steering Wheel and then move on to the interior trim. I also don't mind the lines of the car as it is. I do love the M Sport front bumper but I think I'll wait until I can offord to do the whole kit and do it right. |

Pulled the trigger on an M Sport Steering Wheel just now. The wheel is coming from Europe and the airbag from New Jersey. Together, they cost me exactly $900. Not the best deal in the world but certainly not the worst either.
Can't wait to get it installed! |
