Replacing DSC module/coding
Hi,
I'm in the process of retrofitting active cruise control to my 2013 F32 435d. I'll be doing it bit by bit and I have sourced an ACC ABS pump from a 2015 F31 335d which according to my research is compatible. I need to get this fitted and tested before the returns window expires. The physical installation looks fairly simple, but I'm expecting bleeding to be a pain. Question is, will I need to do any coding for the car to accept the replacement DSC unit? Will be some time before the rest of the retrofit is completed and I need the car to be driveable in the mean time. Thanks, Ted |

Yes, you will need to code the new DSC module to the car otherwise it will not work proberly. You will have to inject the correct CAFD file and VO code the module.

Thanks for the reply. As it will be some time before the rest of the retrofit is done, will this cause any problems? Can the DSC be coded and work ok without the High ICM and ACC front ABS sensors?
