Super stoked to finally have this car and will be making some tasteful modifications!

Picked this bad boy up in New Jersey and drove it back home to Oregon.

Got some Apex Arc 8 wheels ahead of time. They were on sale for Black Friday and couldn't pass them up. Going to be running a winter and summer specific wheel set. These are 18s and will be the winter set and the 19" wheels won't be here until spring.
Getting them prepped by adding a couple coats of AMMO Gelee Pro to each wheel.

Picked up some of the M dual exhaust tips, special order from Germany but got here in 3 days suprisingly. Applied 3 coats of Ammo Gelee Pro and these should totally change up the rear end

Looking forward to seeing your ride. I almost picked up this car from C&B. Maybe it was you that won the auction?

Great to see another F31 owner who is a cyclist. How do you like the e-bike? I can’t bring myself to try one yet

Love it so much, I HATE climbing, but with the e-bike I do 15-20 mile rides no problem and I'm not destroyed the next day after, truly a game changer if you ask me. This is a great representation of me lol

Made it back home with the wagon! Took 5 days to drive it back across the country since I stopped and went sight seeing in multiple cities. Car is an absolute roadtrip beast and averaged 38+ mpg even with the cold weather

Added a couple minor interior mods today:

Red Start/Stop button

Rennline Magnetic Phone mount

Install was a piece of cake, had both items installed in less than 15 minutes, longest part was wiggling to hazard plug back in as the clearance is super tight.

Going to consider a mirror tap and mount for the radar detector next to clean up the interior a bit more

If you do this mode soon, let me know. I'll be doing it in the next couple months. It's not a plug and play for US 328d from what I understand. I'm going to take it to a custom shop but would love to hear if you've come up with something. There is one other user on here that I saw has done it but hasn't been around or sold it. I'd love to see pics from underneath.

I’ve heard the same thing and plan on taking it to an exhaust shop, might ask them to make a custom exhaust just to put a slightly louder muffler if the price is right otherwise I’ll just do the tips

Lol, I guess I can understand that. Climbing is a part of the riding around me (road or mountain) but we don't have as much elevation change as some other parts of NA.

Regardless, car looks great and glad it did well on the drive back!

Got the Apex Arc-8 wheels mounted today! They totally change the car and look fantastic with the BMW center caps IMO. Thing truly looks like a stealthy winter machine now. Hopefully they hold up will with the 2 coats of Ammo Gelee Pro

Can you post some detailed photos of the exhaust under the car once you install those tips? I'd like to do the same but want to see how it's done before I buy the part and tell a muffler shop to figure it out.

^^^. I’m also in New Jersey and on my end the pickings are getting slim for a quality exhaust shop.

Will do, hopefully I'll get some time to visit an exhaust shop next week or after New Years, I think that dual tips and the rear diffuser I got will totally change up the rear end

Had some extra time today and installed my Wheel stud kit. Applied red loctite to each one since these will be permanent. Definitely a cool look and makes putting on wheels way easier for sure!

Did you go with the m sport diffuser or the Reiger diffuser like I did? One of the reasons why I'm going with the dual tips myself.

I went with this 'M Performance Style' Diffuser from Kies although it's just a diffuser from Taiwan. The cutout is for 2 tips though

Got around to installing my M performance diffuser + IND Distribution Color matched rear reflectors. Looks a little weird since I haven't installed the dual tips yet but looking to do that end of this week or beginning of next week. Definitely loving the more aggressive rear end though.

Also installed my Bavsound Stage 1 Speaker Upgrade kit since I have the HIFI system. Just replaced all of the mid-range drivers, tweeters and center channel. Have only listened to it for a couple songs but definitely seems like there's increased dynamic range and crisp sound. Forgot to take pictures of that before and after but I'm sure you can picture it.
