I recently bought a bmw 328d and fueled it up for the third time today. I didn't realize until after I had filled the tank that the tank was for low sulfur diesel (500ppm sulfur max) instead of ultra low sulfur (15 ppm max) like the other gas stations I use. Will this damage the engine? Please help

Engine will not be damaged, but sulfur poisons the catalyst, so it's not good to run it too often.

High sulfur diesel is actually a heaven for diesel engines as it provides higher cetane rating and additional lubrication. But is no ozone friendly and can clog the particle filter a lot more, hence they recommend not to use it.
You wont damage your engine btw |

I recommend you fill up with ULSD at half tank, just so you can dilute the other stuff.
