What wheels to get?

I just bought a 2016 bmw 340i. I'm looking to buy some brushed steel or somekind of satin silver color wheels. What are some good wheels that the fitment is perfect. Do you recommend 18s or 19s?

So many repeated threads. Honestly you just need to do the research. No one is going to spoon feed you information, especially for something like wheels where the look is subjective. Just do your due diligence and read through he numerous threads of examples. Then post a specific technical question or fitment question if you cant find it on your own.

Hi Erick,

We offer a few different fitment options for the F30 chassis in a variety of sizes, widths, and offsets. I would be more than happy to recommend a specific fitment for your application, but I will need a bit more information.

Is the car modified at all or do you plan to modify it in the future? If so, what modifications?

Is the car X-drive or rear-wheel drive?

What do you plan to do with the car? Is it mainly street driven? Any plans for tracking it?

As far as 18" vs. 19" goes, I typically like to recommend 18" wheels for this chassis. 18" wheels will be lighter, have less expensive tire options, and will provide a better ride compared to 19" wheels due to a taller sidewall tire.

I look forward to hearing back!

I went with Apex Arc8 in 18x8.5 and 255/40/18 tires. Fits perfect and plenty of rubber for traction. I'll be posting pics later today

@erick, you need to be more specific than color and avoid subjective queries such as "what is good"? and "what is best?".

staggered or square?
face style 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15 spokes, split spokes, Y-spokes, U-spokes, mesh? post pic if possible.
summer or all season tires?
lowering or stock?
most importantly, total budget for wheels, tires, tpms, etc.

Hi Erick,

Thanks for confirming that info!

For an 18" staggered setup that will be an ideal fit for a stock or lowered street-driven RWD M340i, I would suggest the following fitment:

Front: 18x9" ET31 with 235/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x9.5" ET43 with 265/35-18 tires
-Available in EC-7 design only.
-Front negative camber recommended with more aggressive-fitting tires.

With a 18x9" ET31 front and a 18x9.5" ET43 rear, you can run a 235/40 front and 265/35 rear tire as a direct fit in most cases. If you are planning on running street tires, you should not need any additional front negative camber with this setup.

These wheels are also offered in our Race Silver and Satin Black finish options.

Hope this helps!

-Geirsen

So got a budget?
You can drop as little as $600 for a set of decent looking/Chinese-made Volk 6 spoke knock-offs OR push $4k for HRE or some forged brand (Volk, HRE, BC, etc.).

I just Googled... (color of your car) BMW 340i wheels and looked at the image results for ideas.

Personally I like BC's offerings as well as APEX.
Street is a tad subjective. There's street (comfort/cushy) or street (BIG wheels, almost no tires, shiny/matte parts all over).

BC examples... ($3k+ to your door without tires).

Or Apex ($1k+ to your door without tires)
