Does your M-SPort has this part loose?
It's the black piece right next to the center, lower grill. It is a duct, and there is two of them, one on the right and one on the left side. My passenger side one, wiggles more and feels "more loose" than the driver side one. Any thoughts?

Its supposed to be secured using Betalink adhesive. That's the reason why I didn't do the M Performance splitter, when I took a look at it in the showroom it was loose and had a discernible gap.

Oh, yes that has a gap, and I used betalink and rivets, following the instructions.
To be honest, the gap is very small and you won't be able to see it unless you look at it from a few inches away. I meant to ask about the black duct which sits to the right of the red circle you marked.

So we have 2 members which ducts don't move, but for me and Cfichman, they are loose. I asked the dealership, and the SA said: those are free moving, not supposed to be attached to anything. I think he was just saying that, but I will double check again with another "new" M-Sport I may find at the dealer.

It seems to be that it's a "loose" part, but I've never seen a loose duct on any other car.

They are not firmly attached to the bumper cover so they WILL move around. The bumper end free floating. The other end of the duct is screwed to the chassis.
And it's a brake duct by the way... |
