340i questions/ help me with my build

Just to get some people's opinions and advice here are some questions I have for my build

1. Should I buy JB+ for now ? How does it drive compared to stock and how's the power gains ?

2. Best muffler for 340i ?

3. Should I do H&R sport springs ?

4. What size spacers should I run to have a flush and clean fitment on stock wheels and tires ?
Thanks guys

I'm going to recommend 15mm for the rear and 10-12mm for the front. I'm running 15 and 10 on my 335 and it looks great. Burger Motorsports makes a great set.

I've read lots of disappointed reviews for the H&R springs. Most of those bad reviews mentioned the ride being harsh. I think the general consensus is to do it right the first time and get a good set of coilovers.

I think most will tell you to just go with the JB4 instead of the JB+. Lots more customization in the JB4. There are tons of used models in the classifieds if you wanted to save $100-$200.

Best muffler is going to be tough. Akrapovic gets a lot of attention but is fairly expensive. It sounds wonderful though. Dinan makes a good one too, which is most likely what I'll do for mine.

Charge pipe failures were very common in the N55. If they haven't changed that design, I'd look into a metal upgrade. It'll also be important if you plan on adding boost, which any tuner does.

I have h&r sport springs and while it does make the car look great, the ride is really harsh. If i could go back and do it again I would just get coilovers instead. I have jb4 with downpipe on my 340 and it sounds great, power is significantly up from stock. I can't speak to the jb+ however

As far as tune/exhaust, depends on whether you want warranty. BMW and Dinan both offer systems that include warranty. I have the BMW MPPSK tune and exhaust combo. It's a relatively mild (+35hp/+39tq) tune that is calibrated to work with a dual valved cat back exhaust system. Love the sound in Sport plus. Generally more expensive than other options. MPPSK is a true flash tune that was developed in tandem with the exhaust system.

I've heard clips of other exhaust systems for 340i (Remus, AWE, AC Schnitzer, AFE) that also sound good. Lots of options out there.

Very little to add an already great advice provided earlier.

Couple of considerations.

Exhaust: MPPSK or Akrapovic (my personal favorite).

Suspension: does your vehicle have adaptive suspension? If not - there are many coilovers options. Although more expensive, coilovers provide matched springs / shocks by design.
