Vibration Issue At Speed 435d Xdrive Converatable

I own a 435 D XDrive convertible, purchased new August 2017' from new I have been aware of a noise issue vibration/rumbling sound ,which appears to be from the frontal area of the car ,most noticeable at 78-82 mph. The car has now 3,000 miles on the clock ,I have owned two 330 d without any problems.
I have on several occasions spoken with the BMW dealership regarding the problem.
The BMW Dealership have changed the factory fitted tyres from Bridgestones to Goodyears, this greatly reduced the tyre noise inside the car but did not resolve the issue of vibration at the speeds mentioned.
The BMW dealership arranged for the BMW technical area manger to drive the car, who's reply is that is normal!!!
I find this hard to accept ,without driving the identical car how can this be the answer.or be proven to be correct
Does anyone else have similar issues as this

Check for a bent rim would be my first place to start

Did you order the car? Could have happened on a test drive if you bought off the lot. You'd be amazed what can happen to cars that are then sold as new. Minor accidents paint work etc.

This is hardly normal. Couple of suggestions:

- Ask the dealer to let you test drive a similar vehicle and also ask the shop foreman to join you. It's highly unlikely that another vehicle will have the same problem.

- Call BMW NA and open a case

I think cfm56d7b is giving you good advice.

Take the tech for a ride then try to duplicate it in another unit. It probably won't be repeated in another car.

Have they checked the wheel balancing? Unbalanced wheels will cause heavy vibration at high-speed. I understand this is a new car but anything is possible.

Wheel balanceing

Hello, I ordered the car from new, waited 4 months for delivery,From new the car has been noisy inside the cabin area, when I reported this The BMW dealesrship removed the factory fitted Bridgestones and fitted Goodyear Eagles F1 tyres , this greatly reduced the tyre noise ,but the vibration at speed on long motorway journeys when constant speed is maintained at 78-82 is most noticeable .
and yes ,the new balance weights can be seen of the alloys.
I can only trust the balancing is correct as this has been carried out at a main BMW dealship.

435d XDrive vibration at speed

Hello,
We ordered the car NEW ,We took delivery last August ,we immediately became aware of the noise ,we approached the dealship with the issue and being disappointed with the car ,the car today has only covered 3,000 miles ,
We have had two 330 d without any problems ,that's the main reason we bought a new 335d
Today again I have spoken with the service manager, he has agreed to locating and a test drive for us in an identical 435 convertible,
If that is the same ,then I have to accept all 435d would appear to have the same issue.
Why do BMW as a premium brand refer to this as " acceptable characteristic "

This is a long short. Were the wheels balanced using RoadForce machine?
