BMW CCA Dinan Club Edition M4
For the first time in the history of the annual Car Of Your Dreams raffle, the BMW Car Club of America will offer a grand prize custom-built and tuned with a full complement of performance parts from one of the world’s foremost authorities in BMW tuning—Dinan Engineering. Built, tested, and tuned at their California headquarters, the Dinan Club Edition M4 is unlike any grand prize that has come before. This no-expense-spared M4 boasts 530 horsepower, 504 pound-feet of torque, and a full array of carbon-fiber accessories.
In addition to Dinan, the Club has joined Forgeline wheels and Michelin tires to complete the special car. The M4 features a set of Forgeline GA1R lightweight forged performance wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires for an aggressive look and maximum traction. Along with the upgraded wheels, the Grand Prize M4 features many BMW M Performance Parts carbon-fiber accessories.

Would love to win that baby! Just have to pay the taxes but even at 50% for "lottery winnings", it would still be a bargain. Wonder what the FMV is on that?

Still a beauty for sure! I'd strip all the good stuff off that car and put it on mine and THEN sell it. Haha!

EDIT: Read something that said this is a one-of-a-kind grand prize... so maybe they are actually giving a car away this time. Last edited by Wah; 06-02-2015 at 12:25 PM.. |

I know its based on the 110k but I really don't know what the accurate percentage is. Federal withholding on a lottery win is something like 25% and the state (GA) is I believe 6%. I wouldn't quote me on those numbers but it gives you a ballpark at least.

There's an article in the Jan 2015 issue of Roundel written by a guy that won an M235i (MSRP $44,000) in last year's BMWCCA raffle. He wrote that the national office sent 25% ($11,000) to the IRS, and the remaining $33000 was wired to him. Since he already had an E92 M3, he used the $33,000 to buy an i3 for his wife.

Strange thing about America: the lottery winning tax.
Not an issue up here. True story though: I learned of this tax when my brother in law appeared on AND WON the showcase fucking showdown on the Price is Right. About 15 years ago, with Bob MOFO Barker. ....few things in my life have been more surreal than seeing my brother in law (in really bright orange pants) playing PLINKO with Barker's Beauties.... Anyway, he cashed in the Grand Marquis he won (the 'perfect' car for a 21 year old man...) and was eventually able to get back the bizarre tax y'all made him pay.... (his mother still has the FUGLY Dale Tiffany lamp he won to get off contestant's row....) Anyway, nice car, nice prize, nonsensical tax.
