Just got Match up7 amp, installed in 20mins, awesome little thing. Want to say big thank you for the tune files so far, learning a lot. Will get to doing my own with RTa etc....eventually. Question, loaded Foveons tune, is it me or there’s massive channel separation? I can hear it distinctly coming from each front the speaker instead of a direct front soundstage. I know his tune is for a f36 and I have an F30 completely stock except the Amp/Dsp. Am I just crazy and this is expected vs Home HiFi setup? Will try and mess around today with Saaltinen (f36)and TwoDoor (F30)

I just received my setup from BimmerTech for my F30 and am quite impressed with the performance. These are the tune files they sent me. I used the LHD.

I have an F30 as well and wasn't a fan of Foveon's tune. I'm a big fan of the bavsound tune however - Seems to be staged much better for the F30 and has more dynamic range.

I also have the EQ underseat woofers and jump betweem the bavsound and bavsoundghost woofer tune when I want to crank things up.

Hi from Spain, I am new in this forum and I want to share with you my experience upgrading my F36 428i HiFi....... It is a 2014 model and from the beginning I had clear that I shoud increase my budget in order to improve the Sound System of the car, the stock with 6 speakers was very poor, but Harman Kardon was very expensive for me, so I chose the HiFi option which is ok but not enough.

This year I decided to invest some money upgrading the system and I found the "Match" solutions for BMW, so I started installing the 2 woofers (W8BMW-S) and the bass improved a lot.... quite impressive. Last week I installed the amplifier (UP 7BMW) but I am not totally convinced with the setups tested:

- Audiotec BMW Limousine Setup: OK but I miss more quality on the mids
- Audiotec BMW SUV Setup: Not OK for me, even worse than original HiFi.
- Audiotec BMW GT Setup: The one I have now, it seems to be the best.

These setups are optimized for original HiFi woofers, any setup for my configuration?. I am also dissapointed with the ASD, it is now "loud" accelerating on low revs, can it be filtered a little bit in the setup?

i would recommend tuning the dsp manually. there are guide on youtube if you want to have a try yourself or speak to a local audio shop and see how much they would charge to tune the dsp for you.

the stock tunes were meant for the bmw speakers. i had the same experience myself and kind of wished i had installed the amp before the aftermarket speakers just to see how much of a difference it made

+1 on this request earlier on PP86DSP config files. Naturally, I am running PP86DSP, with all BimmerTech Alpha 1 speakers for main cabin (Front Doors Separates, Center Channel and added tweeter as well to Center, 8" subs under front seats, Rear Doors Separates (added rear door tweeters to be same as front door separates).

I also have a single 10" sealed sub in the trunk, custom sealed box to fit in the driver side trunk recess, using PP86DSP mono out RCAs to a Rockford Fosgate 400DX2 (532W RMS bridged).

Need a good tune file for the PP86DSP. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have a recommendation of what tune to start with. My car is an F34. I've only added a center tweeter (I know I know heresy) but otherwise I would imagine it would be very similar to an F31? I have the match up 7 amp but I've been struggling to tune everything from scratch.

That and does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying hissing noise even at 0 volume after chimes? It drives me mad when I'm sitting in the car and its off. Is it even possible? I also keep my amp gain all the way down because hissing and also even that is plenty loud for me.

Tuned last night with the ghost subs for the first time. The attached file is for an F31 with Stage 1 bavsound, backseat tweeters added, and the previously mentioned ghostsubs.

This is exactly my setup

Match 7 BMW with stock Hifi system F31.
The red led stays on indicating low input signal protection, any ideas?
Can someone recommend a tune with the sub out enabled with factory system?
I get no data out via rca connection, I do get a signal to turn the bass amp on.
Please help with any suggestions?
