435i exhaust
Hey guys I'm new here to the forum, and looking for some advice on some things I can do to my 435i. I recently just got the Dinan axle back, it sounds so much better then stock, but I personally think it's still too quiet. My buddy said to either go with a mid pipe or a down pipe to make it louder. So I wanted to ask what do you guys here suggest, mid pipe? Down pipe? And what the best bang for your buck is. I have a lot of projects for this car I want to do but this is the first thing I want to get some answers for.
Thanks! |

Downpipe is really the only exhaust mod that offers performance, unless you are very high power levels. If you want more volume after an axleback and dont care about performance at all, you could probably just get your resonator deleted for ~$100 or less, but that might increase drone and cause undesirable sound. Depends on what you like. I recommend just searching for examples of the specific setup you want to go with. |

I recommend getting a catted downpipe, its going to get you the more aggressive sound without the raspiness. Also no fuel smell or CEL

VRSF is probably the cheapest but a lot have reported fitment issues. This is the one I have. It was a bitch to install but didnt have any real fitment issues except it does need o2 extenders. It’s just such a tight space it’s hard to install. For $400 you really cant beat the price. Of course there are others that cost 2,3 and 4 times as much but That was more than I was willing to spend.

If not, get the Active Autowerke or Fabspeed i do suggest you check the emission laws in your state and make sure it's legal. No CEL does not make it automatically legal
