Lightbulb 2014 F32 435i 20" Wheels Help?!

Hello F30 Post!

How are ya? I need some help with 20" wheels and tires! I will be leasing a 2014 435i M Sport Alpine White/Coral Red in May or June. My current lease (2011 335i xDrive Black/Black) will be up at the end of June. I have attached a couple photos of my current car with 20" wheels, Niche Euro Matte Black/Silver.

I want to run a 20" setup on the new 435i, but want to make sure everything fits correctly. The wheels are a square setup, 20x8.5 ET40 with 245/30/20 tires. I also was running 10mm Macht Schnell spacers in front and 15mm Macht Schnell spacers in back. However, when I took the wheels off before winter I noticed the front two tires had considerable wear on the inside of the tires. Were the 245/30/20 to wide for the front? Do I need bigger spacers in front?

I will still need to run a square setup since these are the wheels that I already have purchased. What tire size is the best option for me? 245/30/20? 235/35/20? 245/35/20?

Do I need different spacers? I just don't want the tires to get worn down again. I want it to look good, sit flush and work correctly. Please help!

Thank you!

I would run a 245/35R20.

If you are on stock suspension an ET comparable to 8.5 ET35 is pretty much spot on.

Here is a F31 with 245/35R20 and ET35 on all four corners.

Ok cool. Thank you very much Rossifumi! I really like the look of that F31! So, do you think the 245/30/20 that I had on my 335ix was to wide for the xDrive? Is that why it rubbed and wore the tires down? I am guessing there is a big difference between non-xDrive and xDrive cars in terms of wheel and tire fitment.

You are talking about rubbing the tires on the E92?
I haven't been in the E9x game for years so I don't remember what kind of offsets they wanted unfortunately.

Most people run 245/30 or 245/35 fronts and 275/30 or 285/25 rears on their 20" wheels on the F3x. So it works just fine.

As far as I understand the fitments are identical for the F3x no matter if you have xDrive or not. You can't use a 5mm spacer in the rear on the F3x though, it had something to do with the wheel hub. But a 10mm spacer should work too.

Ok, thanks Rossi! I will look into the 245/35/20...

Anybody have any recommendations on specific tires? I will only be using them for spring, summer, fall. No winter driving on this setup.

Whats the recommended tire for 245/35/20?

Thanks a lot!

Any suggestions or recommendations?! Right now I am looking at:

Toyo Proxes 4 Plus
Nitto NT555
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo
Kumho Ecsta 4X
Falken Azenis FK-453

What do you guys think? I am looking for good with low road noise.

Thanks!

Michelin Pilot Super Sport is the best tire you can buy at the moment, same tire the silver F31 had too in the thread I linked above.
