435i M Sport Tire & Wheel Protection
I am taking delivery of my 435i M Sport coupe next week and I was wondering how much I should be paying for the tire and wheel protection that BMW offers. I live in New York and my car has the 19" 442M wheels with mixed performance tires. I'm sure I will have to negotiate a little with them but what is a reasonable price I should be paying?
Thanks in advance for any help! |

looking forward to hearing the answer, too, as I will soon be in the same situation (but with 18").
with my '07 335 I'm pretty sure I got my money's worth on the wheel/tire ins that I paid $600 for, iirc. got at least 3 rft's. after awhile, however, they did start to fix rft punctures, if they did not involve the sidewall. tread puncture fixable.

I was quoted $1200 from my CA here in LI. I have the same 19" 442M wheels with summer tires. I politely declined his offer. They were unwilling to negotiate on that price.

I am in Long Island as well, which dealership quoted you that price if you don't mind my asking?

Haberstad in Huntington. Don't get me wrong, my entire experience was, by far, the best out of all the BMW's I have leased. I just thought the insurance price was outrageous.
