There's a nice 30Jahre at HJ site. Reasonable price these days.

I would say my M5 was immense and probably the best car I will ever own. You don’t hear the V8 as much inside as others do and using 600hp in the real world in the uk is a challenge....

Just big for a fun car and impractical for a dog for me. I don’t think I ever loved it because I was so in awe of it....

Jaguar XFR, 4 full seats. Posted before, but still one of my favourite videos of car noise. Sounds like a plane on approach and great exhaust noise after it passes.

Monaro VXR would be a bit more practical.

suspect a step down from the styling and interior of the better cars owned by most posters in here though.

I love the M5 in pretty much every generation.

Only reason I bought my X6 was because of the engine. I really wanted to scratch the V8 itch. I was initially looking for a late F10 M5. Yes, it's hideous looking and nowhere near as practical as the X5M but there is something insane and ludicrous about a 575 bhp 4.4 litre V8 in an SUV.

As isleaiw states, like the F10 and F90 inside it's not quite as vocal as other V8's but a different story on the outside. Sounds nice in tunnels and car parks too
