New F31 330d (Pics)

Picked my new car up about 2 weeks ago, only just chance to post some pics.

Spec is:-
Alpine White,
Coral Red,
Prof Media,
Auto dimming folding mirrors,
Piano black trim,
Heated Front Seats,
19's
Rear privacy glass,

I didnt have much choice on the spec / colour etc as this was the last built one available and had to be registered before end of Sept to get 'the' deal....it was a very good deal!!

I would have liked the m sport plus pack for the HK audio and Xenons (angel eyes) and wouldnt have necessarily chosen the colour option.....however, I am more than happy with White / Red combo, it looks amazing in real life and may have been a mistake to order anything else for me.

Drivewise:- Love it, so smooth, and I have no problem with the suspension setup being passive, it is far from crashy, but is firm enough for great handling (was in a new Audi A3 saloon sline the other day and that was a hard suspension!!)

Professional media was a must, this makes a great drivers car into as much car as anyone could ever want.

Thanks for sharing..

I've gone for the Piano Black trim with Pearl Chrome finisher combo in the car that I have just ordered and, looking at these pictures, I'm glad that I did.. Very smart..

ps - I have that song on my iPhone also..

Very nice, I had contemplated changing to these colours but my GTi was white so went for a change.

Be careful with that Piano Black though. Scratches like a scratchy thing.

Yeh, Don't I know it, its not so bad on the dash but the center console can pic up scratches very easy.

If i had specced myself I probably would have gone for the brushed aluminium, but this looks really well against the red leather and am very happy....just have to look after it

It does look great. It would have been ruined though if you had switched the ignition on with those DRL's

Glad to see you chose the best colour combination :P

I may be a little biased mind!

Are you planning any modifications? Front grilles changed to black would be a good start.

Congratulations.
Sensibly specced.
Coral Red leather is the business IMO. I just love my seats.

Cheers Mat,
After I did the deal, I searched alpine white with red leather and all the pics of yours came up....at that point I knew I wouldn't be disappointed.

On the mods, tbh I really like the chrome, I would like the slats chrome like the old one...perhaps I'm a bit boring
If there was a cheap way of putting proper xenons and drls on I would....but I know that won't be cheap!!
I think audio is where I might do something - I do like my music, but we'll see, looking at getting winters first, so finance dictates.

Cheers

I've got the piano black trim. Looks great and no scratches as yet! Good choice with the red leather

That looks fantastic.

The only minor gripe I have with your pics is that the steering wheel is not straight!! Just me being a bit OCD....

And the carpet needs a hoover!

Great looking car, the piano black especially looks nice. I went for black seats in my AW, the safe option, but would have happily gone for red, maybe next time round.

haha, yes it does. Damn conifer molting next to my drive!!

If it wasnt a car that was ready made, I probably wouldnt have gone red leather or black trim, but I am really glad the decision was out of my hands.
The black and chrome really suits the car.

Cheers Guys
