Stage 1 turbo upgrade

After my 500 question I’ve had for you guys ! Once again I have another, what should I be looking at in terms of the stage 1 turbo upgrade. So basically the compressor upgrade. I’ve read some people’s post on here about them and I’m no where near as knowledgeable about it the info people are posting. So if someone could dumb it down for me a little bit that would be great, from what I understand the upgrade basically allows you to hold boost for a longer amount of time? In the higher rpm range. Curious if people turn up the boost with this upgrade or simply just try to target a higher boost closer to redline. I don’t wanna test the waters to much with 24-25lbs I hear engineers go boom around there, would I be safe with let’s say 23lbs peak boost then obviously tapering off. I’m really trying to break the 300 whp as you can tell from my 5 posts about it. Just really wanna try and do this the right way I see people use e85 to reach 300 but I don’t have lpfp could I do maybe e10-30 on stock pump and be okay if I’m tuned for it? Or should I just wait to get lpfp before I even bother with that kind of stuff. Really appreciate all the fees back you guys give me it really helps I’m learning a lot from these forums thanks a lot! Excuse me spelling/grammar .

Stage 1 is a replacement mod not much of a performance upgrade. It will hold boost longer and spool faster but considering the cost + labor, it's not worth it.

If you want more power, get FBO parts then stage 2

If you are already FBO, I recommend getting a custom map to take full advantage of the upgraded turbo

What turbo are you looking at that's $3k? Pure is <$2k and you get money back from that with a core exchange.
