Hello

Summarized, here now the files of the "BMW_EVO_ID6_GS" modified GUI to look like ID6.

The GUI is not looking as fancy as the others, but has the advantange of having four tiles per pages, so you don`t need to scroll so much between pages.
Also you can change up to four Tiles with ksw_redirect.

The Source File for editing with GIMP, a precompiled kswoverlay.apk and all images can be found HERE.

Great addition to our themes archive, Kri! But why is it that no one is supplying DAB images with their theme?

Edit: File Manager text, should it be "Manage the...", not "Management the..."?

The GUI modders just don`t use DAB, it`s up to the people to modify the tiles to their like

ID7 doesn`t have a tile at all that supports app redirection.
edit: ID6 has also up to four possible tiles for redirection

ID6_GS has also up to four possible redirects, but four tiles why you don`t need to scroll so much and thats the reason why i choose this theme for me.
the Gimp file also does habe serval additional App icon`s like Spotify, DAB+, ect, you just need to export it

I have not touched the english strings.xml at all, only the german one which can be found at github.

I tried loading the pre complied apks after running the automatic root script but now my display is just black

For People who want to have a Retro CIC/NBT Gui there is now a app called "Idrive" from an independent desginer altough it is hosted on the ibus domain, which does also work with our newer units.

The Launcher is pretty cool and very clean coded, best is that the Idrive Controller is supported on Snapdragon 625 out of the box !

They also have a Google Drive share where people can help translating the Launcher to different Languages.

actual available Version seems to be 1.4 , video is showing 1.5 beta which also supports Deepodb.

It`s extremly customizable regarding options and folders.
A example how it does look on my unit.

Is it possible to easily switch back to ID7?

I like ID7 but NBT fits my (old) car better in my opinion. Looks like more original...

Yes you can select the default Home App at Android Settings -> "Apps & notification" -> "default apps" ->"Home app"

Thanks, found the logos in your file!

Made the DAB logo a tad darker and edited the english text for the tiles in strings.xml. That was not straight forward, it's a mess in there.

In your screen shot you have redirected File Manager to DAB, wouldn't that cause problems when the system makes calls to the file manager? Or do you have a solution for that ...

At the moment we are doing strings translations of DE, EN and ES at the discord channel

Replacing the Filemanager (aka ES-Explorer) is no issue as with the script the default DocumentsUI Explorer, which has a different name will also be installed

It's pretty safe to say that all of us are frustrated with the stock keyboard that comes with our Android units... wouldn't be cool to have iDrive style keyboard with rotary wheel?

Here is a glimpse of what I'm working on right now... bear in mind that this is still work in progress and it's far from finish.
