Alpina B3 Touring - £85,000
If an M3 Touring wont be expensive or exclusive enough you can always buy this Alpina B3 from Sytner Nottingham

I'd have that over an m3 any day. Always liked Alpina

White leather looks great until anybody has sat in it.
I'd be living in constant fear I'd just marked the seats. Jeans will destroy those the first time you climb in. At £85k I'd want to spec up my own car rather than buy used. I think I'd happily build my own M340, in Individual colour, get full paint protection film and the ceramic coating, get it remapped, and then have a nice 2 week holiday in the Maldives, with a lot of cash to spare. Each to their own though, the Alpina is exclusive enough I'm sure someone will buy it fairly soon.

The XD3 I looked at there (for fun, no interest in buying it at £70k) was about £8k less than list I think... I can live with something that I havent specced if near enough for an £8k saving.... And like you I would spec green, but probably not those wheels as the others were cheaper, and definitely not white leather!

Edit - can't see what kind of leather that is though in fairness but Alpina's should have better leather no? |

I may be in a minority, but I like the Alpina look, even the multispoke wheels and big lettering. Problem is that you get nothing by way of a discount, making the difference between it and the donor 3 Series too big to justify in my book. Plus (having driven a D3 a couple of years back) you get the sense that you’d need regular access to a local Autobahn to make proper use of the thing. |

Lovely car, superlative engineering, ludicrous price.
