Hello,
I opened up BimmerLink and looked through the 3 different error categories: info, permanent, and error. Based on that my car has been completely fine as far as I can tell, I was surprised to find quite a lot of errors. I just happened to take a look purely out of curiosity, not that I was noticing anything. I am completely unfamiliar with BMW error codes and how the system works. I was hoping someone could enlighten me on how these error codes work and what they mean. Since I haven't noticed issues with the car, I am thinking that some of these errors are usual and nothing to particularly worry about. I was thinking that perhaps it's just the car communicating various usual information. However, at the same time, errors are errors and they wouldn't be there without a cause. Thoughts? Bear in mind, there were like 76 errors in info before. I assumed these errors could be all the way back from the beginning. So I cleared all the errors, and drove it a few times. Below are the new errors recently posted by the car. Info memory Central Gateway Module 7 errors 101008: UNRESOLVABLE AMBIGUOUS ROUTING - SG NOT IN THE SVT TARGET TABLE 101010: SIF ERROR 101012: TM ERROR 100600: FLEXRAY PROTOCOL STARTUP TIME IS TOO HIGH 100104: HW WECKGRUND ZGW 100203: DM SOFTWARE ERROR INFO WARNING 100204: MESSAGE MONITORING: SYSTEM CONTEXT SIGNAL FAILED Digital Motor Electronics 2 errors 231501: ERROR MEMORY ENTRY: TRANSMIT BUFFER FULL 1FB101: POWER MANAGEMENT: BATTERY BELOW UPPER START CAPABILITY LIMIT Integrated Chassis Management 1 error 1 482656: FLOATING ANGLE ESTIMATOR - INTERNAL DEGRADATION DUE TO SBS Dynamic Stability Control 1 error 480AB5: TRANSFER CASE LONG-TERM PROTECTION FUNCTION REQUESTED BY THE LMV Roof Function Centre 2 errors 801A1C: LINIF_E_RESPONSE 801A57: ANTI-THEFT ALARM: DEACTIVATION OF IRS AND TILT SENSOR BY CUSTOMER FUNCTION Car Information Computer 1 error 93000F: MOST NODE: AT LEAST ONE FUNCTION BLOCK LOGGED OFF Error memory Central Gateway Module 1 error 801C20: CENTRAL FAULT MEMORY FULL Digital Motor Electronics 1 error CDA904: FA-CAN, MESSAGE (TRAILER STATUS, 0X2E4): MISSING Nothing in the Permanent error section.

I'm surprised that you don't get a code thrown every time you fart while driving. It's that sensitive. By and large anything that really requires attention will throw a dash or iDrive screen warning or cause the check engine light to come on. Then you use the diagnosis tool to track it down. Use this to dig deeper into what the codes mean: http://bmwfault.codes/

Did any of the codes I listed indicate anything that I should attend to?

I'd find that out by using the link I posted.

So apparently a lot of these error codes don't pull up any information. Is there anything that I can do? Have you encountered this?

I don't think you should worry about them too much if the car drives fine and there's no malfunction on I-Drive.

Normal. Info and error memory will normally always have errors, even some that cannot be cleared unless certain conditions are met.
Drive your car and don't worry about anything unless it shows up in permanent.

Thanks folks.
I was wondering/worried about the Transfer Case one. But I've seen others have it in some BimmerLink Demo videos. So I assume it's normal. Otherwise, I think I just have a low battery voltage (it was -15 outside). And apparently I need to replace the unit on the roof above the driver area, due to a malfunctioned temperature sensor. But I probably won't bother. Other than that the codes either don't show up, or don't contain much meaning, which I'm just assuming is nothing major/is fine.

My battery shows 85%+ health (over 5 years old) so I don't think mine are battery related either.
