Max Edrive not available

I have a 2017 330e and had this issue start yesterday, I drove in electric for a few miles with no issues. After I tried to put it in max edrive again and it told me max edrive not available system request. After that the car doesn't even turn off the engine at red lights which it would almost always do even in save battery mode. This morning I start it up again, and it tells me the same thing "max edrive not available system request" I am in southern california so the temperatures are not an issue. It's about 75 in the day, and 60 at night. Any idea on what could be causing it? The battery currently has full charge (91%) Yesterday it had anywhere from 40% to 80%. Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for the link. I have looked over all threads with this issue, and no clear answer is given. All the possible reasons in that thread don't apply to mine sadly. I will take the car to dealer on monday.

A code shows up on carly which is concerning, I will see what dealer says monday.

Bad news, after 2 days same issue. Obviously wasn't fixed. took it to dealer again lets see if they fix it this time.

So in short it seems that they replaced the starter for the electric motor.

Absolutely! no clear answer for this issue on the internet, so I want to make sure this thread can provide answers for the future. Lets hope it doesn't happen anymore.

It's almost always the AUX battery issue. Once it's replaced, issues like these should go away.

Can you please tell me whether it was 12V battery underground the Hood? I have Exactly the same issue on Mini f60 SE and I replace 12V battery for brand new OE but still max edrive not available system request. Thanks.
