The "problem" is that I'm in canada and shipping cost is killing me when I look to purchase part from FCP, ECS etc etc. Only rockauto and n54tuning seems to offer decent shipping price.
CTS is located in Canada, could be an option, not sure about IC performance.

Do you remember if it was for the F or E series by any chance?
f for sure. I'm only in one group that really even has e series guys and I troll the fuck out of them when they talk trash about n55 guys. basically if the post doesn't involve an f series or the occasional e series n55 with a pure turbo I don't read it.

yes CTS was my #1 choice at the beginning mainly because they offer free shipping. This was just before some of you explain me that I should go with a race IC instead of 5" aka stage1 IC. I'm not the kind of driver who floor his car everywhere anytime. I don't plan to track my car neither so the CTS "direct fit" could probably do the job. Funny fact, the price shipped is better from n54tuning.com compare to Cts's website with free shipping lol

Does any of you have seen good or bad review on bms IC?

Average to below average, right next to if not identical to AA. I just wouldn’t buy it when everything else just exist.

The BMS 5” would be fine for a DD. It’s going to be literally identical to the VRSF 5” in performance, and that IC happens to be one of the most widely used on the platform. This is the safe option, and is quite inexpensive.

With that said, someone here recently installed the ARM (V2), and it was a fantastic performer, and he didn’t mention anything about fit. You can check with Canadian vendors to see if they sell it, because I still think it’s just better overall than anything we discussed.

yes the BMS is a bit cheaper than the CTS. It might be a better option in the end. I'll certainly look at the ARM IC to compare with other brand.

I finally found a great deal and decided to go with vrsf 6.5" comp HD IC. order placed yesterday.

Should be more than enough for my needs and the price difference between the bms 5", CTS direct fit, vrsf 5" wasn't that much. the comp HD was even cheaper than the CTS. Liked what I've read about result on IAT and turbo lag with the 6.5".

Can't wait to compare logs after winter.

Oh and I almost forgot, happy new year!
