18's beyern ritz with m performance brakes
I'm running the beyern ritz in 18s and I want to upgrade to the m performance brakes with the 370/345mm rotors.
Anyone know if they will fit? |

it's gone be a tight fit. 18" OEM is the minimum. Yours are aftermarket wheels and no one can give you a definite answer. You could just paint your front calipers blue and get a set of blue ones for the rear axle. Technically your front calipers are identical to the performance ones- They have just a lower mounting point and can only handle 340mm at the front.

M3 - M Performance front calipers are identical. They have just different colors- you can even find 380/370 printed on the front calipers. these are the rotor sizes. The M Performance calipers were not a factory option and 99.9% of the time you will only find the normal blue 340mm front /345mm rear version on a 6 cylinder model. There was a " Track Package" option available that included the M Performance brakes but I assume that not many cars have that factory option fitted. That makes it almost impossible to test fit his wheels on other cars. btw: no coding required on a 340i for upgrade from his 4 piston to 4 piston M Sport or 4 piston M Performance - just plug n play. link from my earlier post is quite helpful and explains the whole brake F3X thing It's a gamble if the aftermarket 18" wheels fit over the calipers - OEM wheels are no problem Last edited by alexonahurry; 07-25-2021 at 05:30 PM.. |

I have a friend with an f80. I can put my wheel on his, but he has the 380mm rotor. But I think the calipers sit on the same position.

4cyl F3x- 340/345 F2x (including M240i/M235i)- 340/345 6cyl F3x- 370/345 So for a 6 cyl car theres no difference between "M perf" and "m Sport" in caliper or disc size, only different compound pads and drilled rotors. M perf is only really an upgrade for the "base" brake grey caliper 6cyl cars.
